Police arrested the ex-boyfriend of a girl from new York whose body was found in a red suitcase

Ex-boyfriend 24-year-old Valerie Reyes of new Rochelle (new York), whose body was found in a red suitcase in a wooded area of Connecticut, was arrested in connection with her death.

The girl was last seen on January 29. Her loss became known the next day after she didn’t come to work.

February 5, highway workers found her body in Glenville (CT), about 10 miles from new Rochelle. She was dressed, and her hands and feet were bound.

A week later everything was again moved.

Yesterday, February 11, in Queens police in new York arrested 24-year-old Javier Desilva after he used a Bank card Reyes. Sources report that ex-boyfriend of the victim has admitted to involvement in the girl’s death.

«She was just very, very scared, mom said Norma Sanchez. — Feared for my life.»

According to mother, Desilva looked «polite» and «nice» when they first met, but that all changed after her daughter broke up with him.

«My daughter, she seemed happy, says Sanchez. — The relationship lasted, maybe about eight months… and then, of course, he was, you know the owner or did not take rejection well».

The mother says that Reyes suffered from anxiety and depression. After ex-boyfriend moved out of her apartment, she began to fear death, claimed Sanchez.

Desilva accused of fraud using ATM cards. It can also prosecute.

Office of the chief medical examiner has completed an autopsy but has not yet announced the cause of death of Reyes.
