In long island Builder has cut the legs out of steel plate

Police on long island said that on Wednesday morning one of the builders cut the legs below the knee when he worked on the installation of the pipeline.

39-year-old man, whose name was not called, installed the pipeline in Roslyn Heights, when suddenly a steel plate hit him. The Builder fell into a 10-foot hole, and the plate landed on him, cutting off his legs. According to Nassau County police, officers arrived on the scene, was able to go back to the hole and stop the bleeding.

Timely and properly rendered first aid saved the life of the worker. The police reported that now the injured worker is in a local hospital in stable condition. Work in which the injured worker was carried out for the energy company National Grid.

The company said that currently under investigation, and the work at the site was suspended.
