In Woodside raped a 20-year-old girl. NYPD asks for help in apprehending criminals

Police in new York are hunting a man who committed in Woodside (Queens) rape.

15 Feb 20-the summer girl came back home by bus Q32. About 20.40 she got off the bus and walked towards the house. On the corner of 54th Street and Skillman Avenue with her was a stranger who asked where you can catch 7 subway line. The girl didn’t answer as the man grabbed her, shoved into a car and threatened to kill, was raped.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where she was given medical assistance.

The police believes that the perpetrator followed the victim when she got off the bus, and specifically started a conversation with her. In a video released we can consider the appearance of the suspect. A surveillance camera recorded as he walks down the street, up the stairs, and then, frightened by police sirens, he runs away.

Signs of the suspect

Hispanic, light skinned. Height 5 feet 6 inches (1 m 70 cm). Weight about 200 pounds (90 kg).

People living near the scene of the crime alarmed, because until now their area was considered safe.

«Oh my God! I often go there late in the evening — said in an interview with reporters CBS2 Tara, Jaqua. — I’m in shock».

«This area is very quiet, and suddenly this incident…» says Jasper, Magbanua. His 14-year-old niece sometimes comes around here late in the evening alone. Now evening walks will have to stop. «I’m going to tell her parents set her curfew to 9-10 PM she was already at home,» added Jasper.
