Amy Martin said that on Tuesday, her 16-year-old son, lane Kisling, who is studying at one of the schools of the city of HiCo (Texas), the teacher elicited from the class and cut as the main character of the film «Dumb and dumber» — for the length of his hair violated the school dress code.
The woman confirmed that she had been warned 3 weeks before this that bangs lane, falling below the eyebrows, contrary to the school dress code. Martin says she did not think that the regrown bangs may lead to such consequences.
«It was significantly below the eyebrows but above her glasses, so don’t hit me in the eye,» says the teenager.
The rules of the school boy does have a point about the fact that students whose appearance or clothing violates the dress code, «will provide an opportunity to correct the problem at school» or they will be suspended. What length hair can violate the dress code, the rules do not specify. How to act in each particular case decides the Director.
According to the teenager, the headmaster said Tuesday morning that a teacher licensed cosmetologist will give him a haircut after school. But it was not so. The teacher took the boy right out of class, took him to an empty class and with the scissors cut a thick fringe.
«I sat down, she was going to cut my hair, but then he suddenly said that cut just bangs,» recalls lane.
The teenager said and then he was sent back to class, where he was met with ridicule. The children continued to mock and laugh at lane all day until the end of lessons.
«My 16-year-old son came home, crying,» complained Amy.

The haircut of a schoolboy, according to his mother, looked, to put it mildly, strange — even worse than Jim Carrey in the famous Comedy.
«She was very torn, like Jim Carrey in «Dumb and dumber», but a little shorter and more rounded,» added the woman in an interview with NBC.
On the same day, the Director took lane to the hairdresser to sort it out, though, and thought that there is no reason.

Now both mother and son think it’s better if the school that day simply removed the teenager from school and sent him home. Lane says he doesn’t know how to get back to school — he was ashamed to look into the eyes of classmates.
«I know it’s just hair. They grow back, ‘ said Martin. But she didn’t just cut it. It undermined his self-esteem. That’s the problem».
