A police officer, sheltered the abandoned dog rescued in Brooklyn, since then they are inseparable

Officer Michael Pascal was on duty when he noticed an abandoned dog chained to the fence. The street was very cold, it was raining and wet dog shaking in the wind. Barely glancing at the shivering dog, the officer realized that he needed help and took him to his home.

The incident occurred a few days after Christmas.

Three weeks after the rescue of Pascal officially «adopted» an abandoned puppy. Since then, Michael’s inseparable from his pet, who was named Joey.

The dog was friendly and cheerful. He loves to ride in the patrol car and always ready to help his new owner. Yesterday, the organization PETA, which fights for the humane treatment of animals, has released a touching video on Youtube, where he was told this story.

«When I saw Joey chained up in the Park, I realized I needed to take care of him. I had to take him home. I give him all my love and attention because he deserves it», — explained the act Pascal.

PETA recalls that before you leave your dog in the backyard, you should make sure the dog has food, water and shelter. Pascal together with animal calls all who witnessed inappropriate care of animals, not to pass by and be sure to report the incident to law enforcement officials.

«If you see animal cruelty or abandoned dog, the first thing you need to call 911,» added Pascal.
