Son drowned trying to save his father who jumped from the boat, half asleep thinking that he’s home

In lake George drowned young man when he tried to save his own father, who went down with their boats because I fell asleep and half-awake thought he was going to the bathroom in your own home.

As reported by LaGrange Daily News, Jeremiah Israel (34) was identified as the man who drowned in the lake in the night from Sunday to Monday.

According to the authorities, the body of Jeremiah was discovered on Monday at the West point lake near the bridge on the road, Cameron Mill Road.

Sergeant Stewart Smith with the County’s Corpse in Georgia was told that a young man was fishing with his 64-year-old father on Sunday. After a day of fishing in the fresh air at some point, both were tired, and tied his boat to the bridge, decided to relax a bit.

As described later, the father of Jeremiah, he woke up at night awake and not able to navigate. He decided that he is in his own house, in the bedroom and went to the bathroom. But as he was in the boat, not at home, then just dropped her.

Sergeant Smith said that Jeremiah jumped to the aid of his father, but he himself failed to rise to the surface.

Several boaters who were in 20-30 feet from the incident scene, rescued the elderly man again, dragging him to the boat. WTVM reported that witnesses tried to save Jeremiah, but were unable to pull him from the lake.

An elderly man was taken to medical center West Georgia Medical Center, but later he was discharged and sent home.

The body of Jeremiah was found about 10:47 on Monday, deputies and the County Tift and the Rangers Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

The Department of Natural Resources Georgia consider this tragic incident as a death in an accident. Why 34-year-old man was unable to swim out of the lake, not reported.

Authorities also said that the deceased man lived in the suburb of Jonesboro in Atlanta.
