The security system saved the infant from death in a stuffy salon, when mom fainted

As stated to police, on Sunday, the security system located in the vehicle helped save the life of one-year-old girl from Florida, trapped in a sweltering car after her mother collapsed inside the car.

According to investigators, the child’s mother, Christina Bowermaster allegedly put the child in danger for the second time in 3 months.

Springfield News-Sun reports that the assistant Sheriff of the district of Columbia Bowermaster arrested on charges of neglect of duty in respect of a child after deputies said they found her daughter, sweating in the car.

Sheriff’s deputies were able to open the car door because the window was ajar 3-4 inches. They saw in the car the child’s mother, who was unconscious. The child was in a crowded diaper. The woman told the officers that he felt dizzy and wanted to drink, but from a medical examination refused.

The Florida Department of children and families reported that they took the baby and cared for him until he came a member of the family.

Deputies said they searched the woman’s house and found utensils for drug use, associated with use of methamphetamine and crack.

They added that Bowermaster already been arrested on charges of cruelty to a child in March after she allegedly fell asleep at the wheel when the girl was in the back seat.
