The man, who arrived in new York for the party of the pregnant sisters, died as the result of street fights

40-year-old Troy Scott flew in from Alabama to new York to attend the party of his sister, who soon should give birth. But has not passed also days, as he died on the streets of his native Bronx.

On Friday, June 21, Scott flew home for a family celebration from Birmingham, where he worked. On Board the man took a happy selfie.

On the night of June 22, he decided to have a bite at the nearest fast — food restaurant Kennedy Fried Chicken at the intersection of East 169 Street and Prospect Avenue. There between Scott and another man, a skirmish broke out, which escalated into a fight. In the video posted on social networks, is seen as the victim and the attacker are fighting for outside of fast food.

«The blow was in the wrong place. He fell, hit his head, but even sitting was still trying to fight for his life,» said witness Edwin Tolentino.

NYPD officers found Scott unconscious at about midnight.

«I saw he was standing across the street and talked to the guys in the neighborhood. It was the last time I saw my brother alive,» said the victim’s sister, a Sharp Scott.

The victim’s father, Stedra Phillips, has a message for the suspect in the murder of his son.

«I forgive him. I don’t love it and hate it. But I forgive him for what he did — says the man. — I’ll go with you to the police. I guarantee you’ll be safe, no you will not do anything.. but you will stand trial and pay for what you did.»

Scott is survived by two children 13 and 18 years.

The police still wanted by the attacker. He fled the scene in a red car, going South on Prospect Avenue.
