3-year-old twin girls from Georgia were found dead after being left in a hot car on Sunday, September 29.

The biological mother of the girls Skye Keyes admitted WTOC that her family is devastated. According to her, the last time she saw babies on Friday, September 27, when they met with the social worker.

«I got pregnant six months after we lost our first daughter. She died on the third week. We found out she was pregnant with the twins. They were born 10 weeks early,» says Skye.

According to the woman, she and her husband lost custody of the children because they were still grieving about the untimely death of their daughter. The court has determined that they can visit the kids once a week, on Fridays.

«It’s a long story. We went through a lot after he lost his daughter, and we experienced even more after the girls were born. Bad luck. Just one thing after another,» said mother.

Now she is waiting for a response from the detective, and she has more questions.

«We collect all those puzzle pieces together to try to determine what led to their death,» said the police captain of Hinesville Tracy Howard WTOC.

Skye hopes that the twins will be buried next to their sister who died in 2014.
