Bloody Tuesday in the home of the movie stars of the 1960s: woman stabbed, man shot

The tragedy took place last night, October 15, at the California home of the movie stars of the 1960s- Ron Ely.

According to representatives of police of Santa Barbara, they responded to a call about domestic violence in the exclusive community of Hope Ranch in the vicinity of Los Angeles (California).

When the police arrived at the house, they found murdered elderly woman. While there is no exact information about how she was murdered – shot or stabbed to death. The suspect was still at the residence, he was killed during a shootout with police.

The house in which occurred the incidents, belongs to 81-year-old Hollywood actor Ron Ely, best known for her role in the TV series «Tarzan» from 1966 to 1968, as well as on the film «Doc savage: man of bronze», 1975. «We don’t know exactly how many shots were made. We had some Sheriff’s deputies who were involved in the shooting. All these people were sent on administrative leave during the internal investigation,» said Lieutenant Eric Rainey, a representative of the office of the Sheriff of the County of Santa Barbara.

The police have not yet confirmed whether the house himself, actor Ron Ely, and whether the murdered woman, his wife Valerie lundeen.
