When the hunter from Arkansas decided to take a closer look at its prey after a seemingly fatal shot — she suddenly «came alive» and attacked him. As it turned out, the wounded animal was not fatal, but the man is much less fortunate.
Tuesday night, Thomas Alexander, 66, was stalking prey near Yellville and managed to shoot a deer. The man, who was considered an experienced hunter, decided that he was dead — and he wanted to get closer to see the animal. Getting out of the ambush, Alexander put the gun down and walked over to the deer, but he suddenly came to himself.
«Obviously, he shot a deer, put down the gun and came over to make sure the beast is dead. says Keith Stephens of the Arkansas Game and Fish Comission — And then something happened, what happened.»
Alexander hunted alone, but managed to call relatives and tell them he needs help — and the family, in turn, contacted the emergency services. The man was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Judging by the puncture wounds on the body of the hunter, the deer several times and stabbed him with his horns before running. Authorities found at the scene of the incident, the blood of the animal, but the deer to detect still failed.
