As reported by the Irish Independent, Keane, who lived in Drogheda (town located to the North of Dublin, Ireland), was previously convicted and was under house arrest. By order of the court, the teenager had to return home before dark.

According to his family, the guy fulfilled the conditions stipulated curfew.

On 12 January around 18:00 Keane called his mother and asked her to leave on the mantelpiece money so he could pay the cab fare. However, without waiting for the return of her son, the woman was forced to seek assistance from the police.

It turned out that the last time the teenager had seen on the bridge in the centre of Drogheda around 6 PM, shortly before he called his mother.

Police believe the teenager was recruited drovetski drug traffickers.

His conviction was linked to charges that he pointed a gun at the Manager of the shop, caused damage and threatened his family. Also Keane was a suspect in the case of the explosion of the petrol bomb in the car.

At the request of local authorities, the teenager was kidnapped by gang members and taken to the room where he was tortured and killed. Then his body was transported to another place and disposed of a creepy way.

Body parts of the murdered were found in Dublin: the severed head of the kin discovered in a silver Volvo hatchback in Drumcondra, and his severed limbs — in a sports bag Puma, thrown from a moving car in Kaloke.

The gang members cut off the hands of fingers to avoid identification of the killers using the DNA from under the victim’s fingernails.

The police considers the version that Keane was brutally murdered in the war between gangs of drug traffickers drovetsky.

Currently, the police are looking for a «murdering psychopath», and their main suspect is considered the 35-year-old killer from the North of Dublin, whose officers are called «crazy» and «serial killer».

In social networks appeared a terrible video, which is issued for the shooting murder of Keane, but experts have confirmed that it is fake.

Also worked out a version that Keane was a victim of the consequences of the murder of gangster Richie CARBERRY in November 2019. The police does not exclude that the teenager had connections with the murderers of this gangster, and that was the reason for his abduction and torture.

Members of the gang CARBERRY was out for blood and wanted someone paid with his life for his death. Perhaps kin worked for both parties, and therefore were selected for execution.

The investigation suggests that unsuspecting Keenan lured to death after he agreed to meet with friends on Sunday.

Police described the killing as «brutal and savage». According to the investigation, there are a number of gangs, involved in the control of certain parts of society with the help of cocaine.

The representative of the government said:

«They want to Finance their way of life through drugs and intimidation. We will not allow this to happen.»

«This brutal murder of a child, and it is absolutely unacceptable in any normal democratic society. The level of violence is shocking.»

After the murder of a teenager in the city stepped up police patrols, and the authorities promised to solve the problem with the drug dealers and the outrage that they do.
