The thing about the stolen hearse ended with a chase and crash in the middle of a Los Angeles freeway

The police said that the case of the missing hearse with a corpse in a coffin ended with a chase and a crash on a busy freeway in Los Angeles.

According to representatives of the Sheriff of the County of Los Angeles, on Thursday morning was found a black Lincoln Navigator that was stolen on Wednesday near Church of Pasadena.

Law enforcement agencies pursued a stolen vehicle on highway 110. The chase ended in a crash, which was blocked a busy highway during the morning rush hour, when the townspeople went to work. The coffin was discovered at the scene.

According to police, 25-year-old James Juarez was arrested on suspicion of car theft.

The police appealed to the suspect a few hours ago with a request to return the hearse, which was stolen from the territory of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Anthony in East Pasadena.

KCBS-TV reported that the robbery took place during the funeral of another person in the Church. The undertaker was carrying two bodies in the hearse, and the suspects stole the car while the driver was inside the Church with one of the bodies, the channel reports.
