One of the new Yorkers managed to capture on video as the man in a medical mask on the face several times and struck the officer in the head during the detention, officers of the suspect in the robbery.
31-year-old Nelson Jimenez attacked a police officer in front of a crowd of witnesses near 138th street and Davidson Avenue, who observed the arrest of a suspect in the robbery of a 27-year-old Loami Castro. One eyewitness was filming on a phone.
The footage can be seen as one of the officers holding the suspect on the pavement, and the other stands nearby. A few seconds later Jimenez is slowly coming to a standing COP in the back, and then abruptly hits him several times in the head. The officer immediately reacted to the blow and fired a stun gun into the attacker. Unknown at this time if he went to Jimenez, who managed to escape.

Later, however, police have arrested Jimenez after they found him at a liquor store nearby. The charges against him will be considered.
According to some sources, the second officer also received a few blows behind the scenes. The suspect in that attack, 25-year-old brandi Isomers, was arrested and charged with assault and obstructing government administration.
