A terrible accident in Manhattan, four people injured

As a result of collision Honda Civic with service truck U.S. Department of transportation, four people were seriously injured, one person is in critical condition. The incident occurred last night in Murray Hill, police said.

Two of the victims in the Honda was following North on Third Avenue, and the truck was moving eastbound on East 34th Street. As reported in the police Department of new York car collided 02:30 in the morning and hit a taxi car which just drove past.

«The Civic was approaching and he had a red light. The truck had the green light, it was traveling very fast — about as fast as 70 miles per hour. He then crashed into the car», — told the witness the incident, Saruk Holland.

«I don’t think that Honda was the headlamps. The truck was badly hit her — it was like a very loud explosion. It all happened too fast,» said 51-year-old Pedro Hernandez, who was near the place where the accident occurred.

In the accident, twenty-year-old driver and passenger of the Civic were injured, life-threatening. They were immediately sent to Bellevue Hospital. Earlier, the police said that one young man was on the verge of death, but then his condition was stabilized. The danger of death passed, doctors say.

Taxi drivers and truck owned by the United States Department of transportation, delivered at New York University Langone Medical Center. Their condition is estimated as satisfactory. The police are continuing to establish the details of the incident and yet none of the participants of the accident was not charged with any crime.
