German shepherd, service dog Department of the NYPD is recovering from injuries received during a RAID in Brooklyn.
As reported by ABC7, on Friday evening, a dog named «Tymoshenko» fell through the ceiling in Red Hook, where took place the police operation.
«Tymoshenko» found a gun, six rifles and two shotguns. She received several injuries, but veterinarians say the dog will recover.
Shepherd named, of course, not in honor of the odious political lady of Ukraine, and in honor of police officer of new York Russell Timoshenko.
23-year-old officer Russel Timoshenko died July 9, 2007. He was shot in the face when his partner tried to stop a stolen car. Five days later the officer died in the hospital.
