Homeowner from Chicago shot and killed three robbers

In Chicago during the attempted robbery of the house, shot and killed three people. Police are treating the incident as self-defence.

The shootout occurred in the 10200 block of South Ewing Avenue, near East Side, approximately at 17:30, according to police.

24-year-old man, 17-year-old boy and 24-year-old woman most likely entered the house through the basement.

Male 30 years old, the owner of the house, who lives there with his family, saw the robbers and opened fire on them. Then the man was locked in the room and called the police. All three of the robbers died from his injuries. The police also reported that the owner was licensed to own weapons.

«I passed by and saw the police in front of his house, so he parked his truck a block away, and returned here with my girlfriend to check what happened. I immediately realized that there was something wrong when he saw the police in front of the house,» says Xavi hernández real, a friend of the landlord.

The authorities do not announce the names of those killed are robbers.

Of the homeowner after the shooting was taken into custody, however, according to police, no charges brought to him will not.
