On Tuesday, around 21:00, an unknown man approached the unsuspecting 49-year-old Kamala Shrestha, who was standing on the platform of the station 2nd Avenue in the East village and waited for his train. “I’m going to push you,” he told her.

And you did: the woman fell on the rails. Fortunately, during the incident train line F, moving in a northerly direction, to the station did not fit.

There were many people who witnessed the incident. However, the man escaped in an unknown direction. Witnesses described him as a twenty-year young man of skinny build and dressed in all black.

To help Kamala volunteered several volunteers who jumped onto the tracks and lifted her back onto the platform.

The woman was taken to Bellevue hospital with a laceration on his head. It required about 10 stitches. Doctors have described her condition as stable.

The mother of three children, Kamala Shresthaworking in a nail salon near the scene, said that he had seen attacking her man for the first time.

“Oh my God, today I have started a new life. Actually, I feel good. I almost died today,” she admitted to journalists from the Daily News.

Law enforcement officials are already investigating the case. Arrests have not yet been conducted, but police are viewing footage from surveillance cameras. The motive of the attack is not installed.
