39-year-old Monoki Goldman, a mother of three children, is suing the city of new York and Central Park.

Last month a woman was walking through Central Park with children (two were in the stroller, one in a sling), when it collapsed a huge, 75 foot tall tree.

The woman then lost consciousness and recovered only in ten minutes. She helped the witnesses of the incident to the ambulance and rescuers.

The victim spent several weeks in the hospital, she was diagnosed with a spinal fracture and other injuries. Hospitalized and 2-year-old son of a woman who received a concussion and a brain hemorrhage.

«My client risked his life to save children,» said the lawyer. According to him, the lawsuit will be filed at 200 million dollars.

Monoki was discharged from the hospital, but she is now paralyzed and confined to bed.

Similar case in Chicago recently decided in favor of the plaintiff. There, the jury delivered a decision on compensation in the amount of 148 million dollars the girl was partially paralyzed after being in O’hare airport on her collapsed bus stop.
