In the administration of trump’s plan to introduce a new policy for the protection of health care workers who, because of their moral or religious beliefs refuse to participate in termination of pregnancy, treatment of transgender and sex change operations.

The Department of health and social services will create a new division on matters of conscience and religious freedom that will help doctors, nurses and other medical professionals to refuse to provide services that violate their moral or religious beliefs.

Human rights activists for the rights of women and LGBT communities, and groups of doctors expressed concern that this decision will further discriminate against vulnerable groups and exacerbate inequalities in health.
