The woman claimed that Obama signed it on Twitter. It was true, but it still sent to a psychiatric hospital

36-year-old resident of long island, which stated that illegally spent 8 days in the mental hospital, sued and… defeated. The jury determined that the doctors of Harlem Hospital was right when he suggested that the patient had problems with mental health. The woman still disagree.

Camille Brock was arrested in September 2014 after she was trying to find out how to pick up a car that has been confiscated due to suspicions of marijuana use. The narcotic substance was found in her car. Police said she was behaving strangely and contacted the ambulance staff, which sent her to the psychiatric ward.

According to the medical records from her attorney Michael Lamonsoff, Brock was forced to take lithium, and injected a strong sedative. According to the defender, for 8 days, the staff repeatedly tried to force his client to deny that she owns a BMW that she became a banker without College diploma and that it was signed by Barack Obama on Twitter.

The woman insists that one of those statements is true, so I decided to file a lawsuit against new York police officers and doctors of Harlem Hospital and to defend ourselves. For example, Brock is truly one of 600 thousand people, which is following Obama on Twitter.

«If a white woman tried to return his BMW seized by police, would she sacrifice? says Lamonsoff in September 2015 the Huffington Post. I don’t think so. I think that race played a role».

During the court session testified against her three doctors — Elizabeth Lescouflair, Zana Dobroshi and Alan labor, as well as a police officer in new York Salvador Diaz. They all decided that Brock is in need of psychiatric treatment.

The jury sat for three days before reaching a verdict. As a result, three of them supported Brock, and five were against.

One of the turning points in the case was the fact that his father and sister Brock had not come to court to testify, although previously they had allegedly told hospital personnel that she is behaving strangely.

«We consider this verdict as a complete defence to the accused officer and the doctors who tried to help Ms. Brock during her anxiety episodes. The jury denied any suggestion that the actions of these officials were not entirely appropriate in the circumstances», — said the representative of the Legal Department in new York.

During the sentencing, the woman cried and said that now the decision and drives her crazy.

«Is it reasonable that they diagnosed me with bipolar [disorder], but I’m telling the truth?» — Brock said through tears.

Neither the lawyer nor the client has not announced whether they intend to appeal.
