The organization associated with the Ku Klux clan, received permission for a rally in Ohio

Authorities in Montgomery County Ohio were allowed to hold a rally based in Indiana organization Honorable Sacred Knights, considered to be associated with the Ku Klux clan. The rally is scheduled for 25 may in the square in the center of Daytonand, according to preliminary information, will take part from 10 to 20 Honorable members of the Sacred Knights.

As reported by the Dayton Daily News, the decision was issued on Friday, February 22. According to officials of Montgomery County, first application for holding the rally, the organizers filed under fictitious names. But as soon as it was filled properly, with real names, officials found no grounds for refusal.

«We are required by law to provide access to public places where people can exercise their right to freedom of speech, — said the representative of the Montgomery County Michael Colbert. — It is important that we cooperate with local law enforcement to ensure public safety before, during and after planned events».

The authorities of the Dayton appealed to the organizers asking for the meeting another place or even about to cancel it.

«We offer a Honorable Sacred Knights to reconsider the decision to hold a rally on the territory of our city, — reads the statement of the city authorities. — Hatred is not a value of Dayton».

Honorable Sacred Knights, positioning itself as a Christian organization, is included in the list of «hate groups» along with Ku Klux clan. On their Facebook page — many images of «genocide, hosted by the white race.»

In social networks already announced the preparation of a protest against the rally, which is scheduled to hold on may 25.
