On Thursday, Daytona beach police have arrested a woman after finding her five year old son in a terrible state. The boy is much emaciated, can’t talk, stand and walk. According to experts, a child dehydrated and malnourished.
Investigators from the Department of children and families were in the house arrested, trying to understand the case of neglect of duty in respect of the child.
The report says that the officers entered the house and found Naomi Hall, 24, and her five year old son, collecting the flakes from the dirty carpet to satisfy your hunger.
Arrested told investigators that her son had not eaten for three or four days in a row, and she tried to feed him.
She also said that not talking to his son, but knows when he needs something, the expression on his face. The woman was determined that her son is hungry, when he began to chew on my own arm.
Currently, the boy weighs 24.9 lbs (11.3 kg). The police say that the table of weight for age 5 years even there is no such indicator. He was given an appetite stimulant, but Hall said that does not used the drug, arguing that the pills the boy wanted to sleep, and they did not work.

The boy was taken to the hospital and placed in intensive carein case of cardiac arrest or other complications. The doctor diagnosed him with «exhaustion«.
Hall lives in the house with her husband and two other children. The woman was arrested on charges of neglecting their duties to care for a child and causing grievous bodily harm. It is not yet clear whether the allegations her husband is detained. Investigators say they do thorough examination of the case.
