Christine Barnett, 45, and her ex-husband Michael Barnett, 43, is accused of mistreatment of a child: the couple allegedly adopted 9-year-old girl from Ukraine with a rare form of dwarfism, and then threw one in the apartment in Lafayette (Indiana) — of which one had to take care of themselves for three years.
