An elderly Yorkshire Terrier, who received a traumatic brain injury, and then thrown in a dumpster died from injuries.
York named Pringles found by a passerby the morning of 3 October in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), hearing sounds out of a dumpster. The man looked in there and under a layer of dust saw a badly injured dog.
Pringles was immediately taken to the Pennsylvania society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (SPCA). In the organization told that the dog was in critical condition.
«Our team is doing everything possible to save the life of Pringles, said Nicole Wilson, a representative of the SPCA of Pennsylvania. — The dog was seriously injured, and instead to ask for help, someone threw her away like she was garbage too. Thanks to the good Samaritan who quickly oriented in a situation, we hope to give Pringles a second chance at life she deserves».
Unfortunately, four days later, SPCA issued a statement that the dog died.
«With the heavy heart we share the news that Pringles is dead. But we hope that we can find solace in the fact that she didn’t die in a dumpster, scared and lonely, and was surrounded by love and support of many in Philadelphia and beyond,» — said in a statement.

In SPCA of Pennsylvania added that their group of animal rights has established owners of Pringles and investigates the way she was so badly injured and thrown in the trash. According to preliminary information, owners of York may soon file charges.
