The employee claims that the company began its persecution after he found poorly hidden camera in toilet

A resident of new Jersey said that he found a hidden camera in the toilet at work. His employer tried to hush up the case, starting the investigation concerning the employee, according to the lawsuit filed by the man.

Jason savage, an employee of the human resources company TriNet USA, Inc., says that on 22 July found the camera attached to the toilet, which was placed so «to remove the genitals of people,» said the lawsuit.

Male 27 years told The Post that he was in the company’s office in new Jersey, when I saw the black duct tape in the toilet.

«I noticed a flashing green light reflecting from the chrome surface. Me is terribly impressed. To my amazement I saw a black box with a lens. I didn’t know how to react. I again donned the pants. The workplace should be safe. Why there is a recording device aimed at my genitals?»

His immediate supervisor, David Swerdloff heard he was talking about this with a colleague and went to the bathroom, grabbed the camera and told them not to tell anyone about this. He said that he will write a statement to the police. But instead, he later told staff that «accidentally broke the camera and in a panic threw her out of the car», is told in court materials.

Swerdloff tried to dissuade the Savage and his friend to report it to the police, saying «you don’t want you to get fired; TriNet will pay for your rent, school and benefits».

But Savage and his friend informed about the incident on the anonymous hotline for employees. This forced its leader, who suspected that he might get fired, tell the Savage that they «need to verify their stories.»

David quietly dismissed in September, and the rest of the staff was not informed why. Many workers were friends with David and blamed the Savage that fired him.

The lawsuit says that the company told the employee not to talk about what happened, and they did not respond clearly to the question whether they reported the incident to the police.

However, the savage was afraid of Sverdloff «will do something to us physically, professionally, or worse.»

Then in October, TriNet began an investigation against Savage in an attempt to «gather evidence against the plaintiff to justify began in retaliation of the campaign,» according to the materials of the case. Savage told The Post that he believes his employee, who is friends with David, TriNet lied like he did about her statements against her religion and orientation. The man added that, in his opinion, the company believes that by firing him, they will be able to get rid of problems.

«They tried to hide it, because he knew that I knew information that could damage their reputation, especially as the personnel of the company. This toilet is shared. I’m afraid I could go to the baby. I’m very concerned. I want everyone to know the truth about what happened to me».

Lawyer Matthew Savage Lubero said that the company said that filed a statement to the police. But when his client wrote his statement on Friday, the police said that no other complaints about the incident they had received.

«This case is about a shocking violation of privacy,» said Loubet. «It is important to draw public attention to this case because, as seen in the lawsuit, the company was more concerned to force the employees to keep quiet than to know the truth.»

The representative TriNet, Rene Brotherton said that the company would not comment on the case, which is considered at the moment, but noted that the company always tries to ensure that employees with a safe workplace.

Swerdloff did not respond to a request to comment on the case.
