Dog breed lurcher, which is only 3 years old, was found near death sticking out from under the skin bones after cruel owners abandoned her a few days before Christmas.
Rescuers found a dog by the name of Trigga, thrown into the road in Blyth, Northumberland.
In the shocking photo you can see how charming little dog wrapped in a fluffy blanket. The dog barely has fur, and its ribs protruding from emaciated bodies. It is obvious that the dog was severely malnourished, and her body is not a gram of fat.
Officers animal control said that was «upset» at the sight of a state, which left little Tiggy. Now authorities are asking for help in finding the people who abandoned the dog to get justice for her.

The representative said, «This dog was in really terrible condition. Someone somewhere knows who it belongs to or seen her. It is a shocking and inexcusable case of cruel treatment of animals and we intend to see how she was in this exhausted condition and bring the culprit to justice.»
The dog is now under the supervision of the animal shelter, and she was put on a special diet to help her gain weight. Her fine watch and photos shared from shelter, you can see how the dog was wrapped in a warm blanket.
More severe punishment for cruelty to animals, introduced in June, can now lead to the fact that the criminals will be in prison up to 5 years.
