Girl 15 years old lied about what the mother’s boyfriend had raped her to take revenge for the fact that he cheated on the woman a few days after birth.
Brandon Hudson (age 30) was found not guilty of rape a jury consisting of 10 women and 2 men. They made the decision after 30 minutes of meeting Wednesday after all have agreed that the charges against the men was fabricated.
Hudson of little Rock, Arkansas, told the jury that the girl, whose name was not called, hated him for what he twice cheated on her mother while she recovered, giving birth to their son. The girl, who is now 18 years old, did not recognize the Hudson as a «role model of the father» during their 5-year relationship with her mom, which has since ended. She said that the gym owner Hudson climbed into her bed one night in June 2017, stating to her that he wants to show her options of wedding rings for her mother.
She accused Hudson that he forced her to have several intimate acts, and he allegedly said that he loved her. She claimed that the attack ended after she started crying, and then Hudson apologized to her for what he did.
Jury the jury did not believe the statements of the girls, partly because there was absolutely no physical evidence of the incident, including DNA, which would confirm her story. She was also asked why she waited a week before contacting the police, despite the fact that Hudson all this time continued to visit her house.
Defender Hudson, bill James later drew attention to the disparity between recording girls about the incident in her diary and the testimony that she gave in court. He called her accusations «a lie», adding: «Besides her word that it happened, there is no evidence. The story she tells is nuts. He must be some maniac to do something like this. Common sense suggests that he didn’t do it».
If a man was found guilty, he could face life in prison, reports the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He told the court that he is sorry that he cheated on his ex, and his attempts to reunite with her were unsuccessful.
