Bill O’reilly called the shooting in Las Vegas «price for freedom»

The bloody incident in Las Vegas has become so resonant event that many celebrities, politicians and users of social networks are unable to keep silent.

Some of them expressed their condolences to the victims and families of the victims, someone condemned the “connivance” on the part of law enforcement, who then took part in discussions about the need to pass a law controlling the possession of weapons.

Among the latter were bill O’reilly, the former presenter with Fox News channel, where he worked for nearly twenty years as a columnist and commentator of the news.

But after almost three weeks after April 2017 on the site of The New York Times published an article about sexual harassment of a journalist to his five colleagues, the company 21st Century Fox has made the decision on his dismissal.

The next day after the tragedy in Las Vegas bill O’reilly shared his thoughts about the incident with the readers of his personal blog, Bill O’Reilly.com

And did it in a spicy way. According to O’reilly, a mass shooting in Las Vegas once again stressed the “great lack of American liberty”.

After summarizing the known facts about the incident, bill made a disappointing forecast.

“Having opened in recent years, many crimes related to weapons, I can tell you that government restrictions will not prevent psychopaths to hurt people. They will find a way,” he writes.

“Public safety requires making logical gun laws, but the issue is so polarized and emotional that can be achieved only a little because there is no consensus.

The national rifle Association USA (NRA) and its supporters want to get easy access to weapons, while leftists want to ban it.

It’s the price of freedom. Deranged rapists are allowed to roam around until they hurt. The threat they may pose, is not taken into account.

The second amendment to the U.S. Constitution makes clear that Americans have the right to arm themselves for their own protection. Even crazy,” added O’reilly.
