Mark David Campano, one of the most notorious criminals of the twentieth century, was again denied parole. The release from prison of Mark Campana prevents and Yoko Ono, widow of Lennon. She wrote a letter to the Commission on pardons of the state of new York, where he was asked to leave a man behind bars, because I believe that his release could provoke violence against her person, and to himself. Moreover, according to Yoko Ono, parole would be disrespectful to the memory of John Lennon who didn’t deserve to die.
The criminal himself has repeatedly stated that in jail he «found God» and realized their mistakes. Chempen admitted that to carry out the attempt on the musician pushed his glory Lennon. The killer believed that the singer had no right to lead a Bohemian lifestyle and was a «fake rocker». For his crime the man was sentenced to life imprisonment with the right to apply for parole.
