Strangers staged a journey of a lifetime 4-year old child who could not get to Boston for the surgery that could save his life

The doctors said that Noah will die shortly after birth. However, the baby celebrated its 4th birthday and underwent 9 operations.

 

Noah has heterotaxia. This is a rare congenital anomaly, characterized by improper location of the internal organs and in his case, two Atria, ventricle and stomach. In addition, the baby is no more one ventricle and pulmonary arterey.

The fact that he’s alive, no doubt, a miracle. But doctors and relatives can only prolong it’s life as possible. When the boy took another, the third open-heart surgery, the family Alderson was a serious problem.

The kid needed to get to Boston to the children’s clinic of Spokane (Washington state). To fly a commercial flight of Noah could not, medical air transport, the family was unable to afford and insurance does not cover the rental until the baby is officially not listed as a patient of the hospital.

The family started fundraising to pay for operations and rent an RV.

When in the company of Outdoorsy, which is engaged in the rental of trailers, found out about the problem of Noah’s story in the local news, the Alderson family found the camper during the day. Noah has found new friends and a chance to get to Boston for surgery, not just making the next trip to the hospital, and having gone to a fascinating family journey through the iconic places of America.

Today Noah will meet with the doctor and will begin to prepare for a risky but necessary surgery biventricular recovery.

The doctors say the baby 25% success rate. If all goes well, the heart of Noah can continue to grow independently. Parents believe that 25% is enough for them and hope for the success of the operation.
