The city of angels got its own Sculpture of freedom. However, the title is the only thing that connects her with new York sister.
Los Angeles the monument is a metal structure consisting of two cylinders in silver and Golden color. The metal weave will sparkle all day and night: a day in the sun, and at night — thanks to special lighting.

The monument is located in the century city Boulevard, Santa Monica. It premiered on independence Day within the Los Angeles festival of freedom, which was addressed by famous Iranian artists, Arash, EBI and Max Amini.
The project was designed by world renowned architect Cecil Belmondo by the order of Iranian-American non-profit cultural organizations Farhang Foundation.
A new landmark symbolizes the light of hope, and its shape is reminiscent of the Cylinder of king Cyrus the Great — a monument to the first Declaration of human rights, written two and a half millennia ago.
The head of Farhang Foundation Farhad Mohit hopes that the Sculpture of liberty, will inspire contemplating of its people.
«Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all of us, such different people in Los Angeles, symbolizes the life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for the whole world,» said Mohit.
