For this little boy, Christmas has come early because he managed to reunite with his lost dog, and this touching moment was recorded on video his prudent mother.
In the video, which first appeared on Facebook and then on Twitter, a dog named Piper, which was not home for 2 weeks, impatiently waiting in the car to see his young master, a boy named Carter who are leaving the school.
When the Carter saw Piper, his face expressed a gamut of emotions – from disbelief to excitement and tears of happiness. After the boy put his backpack in the back seat of the car, he hugged me for a pet during a moment that can be called both joyous and sentimental.

As written in a post on Facebook, after Piper got lost, the family was worried that they’ll never see it again until the animal shelter Genesee County Animal Shelter had a dog, which describe the Piper. Mother Carter called it a «Christmas miracle.»
The boy’s mother wrote: «It was a miracle when we were told that they found the dog, like Piper, which was taken to the animal shelter. I was in shock. We all have almost become accustomed to the idea that she’s probably not coming back. But it was her! I melted when I saw her little tail wagging when she came out of the back room of the shelter where she’s so well cared for. Carter and Natalie a few days out of town, because they were spending time with his father’s family, and I was hoping to make their reunion special. Video is the embodiment of this reunion. The video says more than any words I can write. My son loves this dog, and he was miserable while she was gone, and today she’ll sleep with him. It’s a Christmas miracle for our family and thanks to all who helped to bring Piper home.»
