Hollywood actor Edward Norton was in court for deadly fire in Harlem

Actor, Director and screenwriter Edward Norton will tell the court about the deadly fire on the set of his movie «Fatherless Brooklyn».

The star of «Fight club» was off his feed on 773 St. Nicholas Ave. March 22, 2018, when the flames that claimed the life of firefighter Michael Davidson.

Widow, Eileen Davidson and five tenants who had to move, filed a lawsuit against the production company Class 5, Inc., and the owner of the building, saying their negligence led to the fire.

As previously reported, smoke was first noticed it was Norton during the filming of a scene in the basement of the house. At the time of the fire the building was empty. The fire quickly spread, and fire was awarded the highest category of complexity. As a result, one rescuer was killed and another four were injured.

Norton needs to testify in the case on February 20.

Four of the displaced people tried to subpoena the Norton last month because he was present the night of the fire.
