In Yosemite you can see the «fire falls» this week

Photographers in Yosemite national Park are already faced with a natural phenomenon known as the «fire falls» — when at sunset it seems that the lava is flowing on the rock.

The «fire» alive as the light of the setting sun falls on the waterfall at the right angle. This phenomenon appears only for a short time in February. Natural phenomenon, like a lava, it is possible to observe only a few days a year.

This year a similar phenomenon is expected between 13 and 27 February.

It’s an incredible sight not to be repeated twice: it changes every year and even from day to day, depending on weather conditions and strength of the water flow.

Anyone wishing to see this unique phenomenon of the national Park Service recommends that you prepare for cool weather and bring a flashlight.

To get the best seats in the Park advises visitors to come as early as possible.
