On Tuesday inside one of the main political parties of the USA – Democratic party – was the so-called primaries – the election of a single candidate for mayor of new York. Bill de Blasio has been out of competition for his candidacy voted about 2/3 of the party members.

According to unofficial data from more than 90% of precincts reporting, de Blasio won about 74% of the vote. Initially, the current mayor of new York was considered a recognized favorite among five candidates. The other four Sal Albanes, Richard Basner, Robert Gangi and Michael Tolkin – had no organizing power or financial support.

Now de Blasio is preparing for the main – stage elections in November, where he will «compete» with a member of the legislative Assembly and Republican Nicole Malliotakis and independent candidate – a private detective Bo Dietla.
