The mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti says he will not run for Governor of California next year.
On Friday gradonacalnik announced its decision to continue to serve Los Angeles, because he and his family brought to town. 46-year-old Garcetti became mayor for the second time in March this year, for the third time to run he will not be able in accordance with restrictions established by the legislation of Los Angeles.
Some analysts have suggested that the mayor-a Democrat will be running for Governor in 2018, or even President in 2020.
The second term of the current Governor of California Jerry brown, coming to the end of next year, so politicians have evaluated the chances of possible contenders for the post. The most likely of them are Republican businessman John Cox, Assembly member Travis Allen, a Democrat Gavin Newsom and former mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa.
