The U.S. Supreme court upheld the travel ban trump

The U.S. Supreme court upheld signed Donald trump ban on entry into the United States citizens of some countries, mainly Islamic.

The court did not consider the so-called travel-bath of discrimination of Muslims or exceeding the President his powers.

The decision was adopted by 5 votes to 4. It was announced by chief justice John Roberts, noting that the President has greater authority to resolve immigration processes.

The President has already reacted to the news in his Twitter.

«THE SUPREME COURT UPHELD THE TRAVEL BAN TRUMP. Wow!»

This is the first major victory of the immigration policy of the administration trump in court.

Recall, upheld a variant of the travel-ban — for only the third time that the President is trying to implement from January 2017.

According to him, entry into the United States prohibited most citizens of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen. Chad was on the list from September 2017, while trump has not removed it from there April 10, 2018.

It is noteworthy that Venezuela and North Korea are also included in the list of the countries travel ban, but the ban against their citizens in court are not disputed.

Previously, several lower courts have acknowledged that the travel ban violates Federal immigration law and the U.S. Constitution.
