First openly gay became a candidate for U.S. President

«Our country needs a new start,» said 37-year-old from Indiana, mayor Pete Buttigieg, when it was announced that go for the presidency in 2020.

He married his partner, Chastina of Glazman in 2018. Over the past few years, the leaders of the Democrats, including Barack Obama, called it an example of the future of the Democratic party.
