Israel currently controls a large part of this district, however, the governments of some countries here do not recognize the sovereignty of Israel and the occupied lands. Syria constantly challenge its sovereignty over the region, it actively supports Iran.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has already responded with words of thanks for the tweet trump: «At a time when Iran seeks to use Syria as a platform for the destruction of Israel, President of trump boldly recognizes Israeli sovereignty over the Golan heights» — he wrote.
