The state electoral Commission of the state of Minnesota is investigating how Ilhan Omar spent his election campaign. The Commission believes that the Congresswoman has spent $6000 on personal needs. It is assumed that Omar spent it to pay the divorce attorney and on trips to Boston and Estonia.

The charges that were made last year by a local legislator, Republican Steve Drazkowski, was investigated by the Fiscal Council, the Minnesota campaign. It is expected that the Council will take a decision on investigation is somewhere in the next month or six weeks.
Congresswoman Democrat Ilhan Omar denies the accusation that she used campaign funds for his divorce, saying that the money she paid the lawyer, Carla Kjellberg, was a reimbursement for services in crisis management that she received during the elections to the Parliament of the state of Minnesota.
