Impeachment will not be the Senate acquitted trump on both articles

Just a couple of minutes after the Senate voted for acquittal of the President on both articles of impeachment, Donald trump tweeted a video showing a mock cover of Time magazine in which it was assumed that he would become President «4EVA».

«As tranism going through the trump,» reads the headline on the cover.

Trump added in a second tweet that he would make a public statement on Thursday.

We will remind, on Wednesday evening, the Senate voted for acquittal of the President on both articles of impeachment (abuse of power and obstruction of Congress).

In the first article the Senate voted 52-48, and the second 53-47.

In order to remove trump from office, required the support of at least two thirds — or 67 members of the Senate, a body controlled by the Republican party.

The Senator from Utah , MITT Romney was the only one of 53 Republicans who condemned trump for the first article.

Republican senators Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska said that trump has committed acts that were «inappropriate,» but these actions were not so that you can remove him from office.

Note, no President in US history was not removed from office by impeachment.

The campaign Manager for the reelection of Donald trump, brad Parscale called the acquittal a new step forward.

«President trump was acquitted, and now it’s time to return to the Affairs of the American people, wrote Parcel. Democrats know they can’t win. As the presidential campaign intensified as a result of this «nonsense», this fake impeachment will be included in the list of the worst blunders in American political history.»
