Trump blamed Congress for the failure to repeal ObamaCare

On Tuesday, President Donald trump has strongly criticized the actions of members of Congress, particularly Democrats and «a few Republicans», reproaching them that they are not allowed to rewrite the health care law known as ObamaCare.

Morning tweet trump showed the attitude of the President to the failure to implement the flagship legislative priority for Republicans. For seven years the Republican party promised to repeal the law passed by President Barack Obama.

We were let down by all of the Democrats and a few Republicans. Most Republicans were loyal, terrific & worked really hard. We will return!

As I have always said, let ObamaCare fail and then come together and do a great healthcare plan. Stay tuned!

«Most Republicans have been faithful and worked very hard to achieve the goal. We summed up all the Democrats and a few Republicans. Like I always say, let ObamaCare be exhausted and then together create a great new health care program. Stay up to date!»

Two senators of the Republican party — Mike Lee of Utah and Jerry Moran of Kansas have doomed the bill to failure, announcing Monday that they would vote «against» ppervonachalno voting, which was supposed to happen next week. This means that at least four of the 52 senators from the Republican party, ready to block the replacement of ObamaCare is two votes more than the majority leader Mitch McConnell could lose the face of unanimous democratic opposition.

The defeat of the Republicans

At the session of the Senate on Tuesday, McConnell acknowledged that the bill repealing the law of 2010 and replacing it with new programs that «will not be successful.» This statement, in fact, is a direct Declaration of defeat.

McConnell also announced that the Senate will vote for the adoption of a law abolishing a large part of the programs of Obama, which will take effect in two years. This, according to Republicans, will give Congress the time to complete a new health care program. But this initiative is unlikely to receive congressional support, as many Republicans are concerned about the fact that the two-year gap will lead to chaos in the insurance markets and cause a political resonance that is clearly not going to play into the hands of the Republican party.

The President is not happy

This situation is not liking Trump more and the reason that his continued attempt to influence Congress and vague, often contradictory descriptions of what he would like to eventually show that he limited the influence of the senators. The leaders of the Republican party trying to prove that they and their colleagues can effectively govern the country.

The failed bill McConnell would leave 22 million people in the US without insurance by 2026, according to the nonpartisan Budget office of the Congress. Like the project, approved in may, the McConnell bill could cancel tax penalties for people who do not buy insurance policies, and also to reduce the Medicaid program for the poor, the elderly and nursing homes.
