President Donald trump has threatened to close the government if not passed the bill on the public financing of wall on the border with Mexico.
About this trump announced yesterday, August 22, in his speech at a rally in Phoenix, Arizona.
«Build this wall. The Democrats want us to do, but trust me, we’ll shut down the government and then build this wall» — said the President.
Trump has proposed to Congress an ultimatum – either they must fall to include in the draft budget for next year funding for the wall, or they will have to face harsh retaliation.
The President added that the congressmen should represent the interests of the American people.
Recall the construction of the wall on the Mexican border was one of the key theses of election campaign trump along with the abolition of Obamacare and tougher migration policies.
But Democrats are strongly opposed to the funding of the wall. According to The Hill, on the preliminary draft, the wall must be not less than 18 feet in height; constructed so as to prevent the ability to dig tunnels or climb on top and needs to be «aesthetically pleasing» from the United States.
