Brooklyn will get its own skyscraper

On Thursday, the company Extell Development shared with the public new details about its current and very ambitious project – a high-rise building Brooklyn Point, which will be the first skyscraper in Brooklyn.

The building Brooklyn Point, which will be located at 138 Willoughby Street, will be 68 floors, and the final height of the finished skyscraper will reach 720 feet. The building of the Brooklyn Point, designed by the firm Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), will be used as residential building. There will be 458 apartments of different configurations, from studios to three-bedroom apartments with individually designed interiors. Prices for apartments range from 840 000 $ to 4 million dollars. Residents of the luxury housing will be available in more than 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a private garden, wine room, games room, children’s playroom, storage space for bikes, saltwater pool with a length of 65 feet and more.

In addition to additional facilities inside the building, the residents of Brooklyn Point will have access to more than 600,000 square feet of shops and restaurants, including market DeKalb Market, a branch of the trading network of Trader Joe’s and the Alamo Drafthouse cinema.
