Monday starts a new lottery for affordable housing in new York city. This time in Long Island City, but rather at the junction of the most sought after neighborhoods in Queens — Long Island City and Astoria. Lottery covers 21 apartment in a new luxury residential building under the name Vernon Tower (11-06 31st Drive). The house is located opposite the Socrates Sculpture Park and is just a few blocks from the Noguchi Museum and the waterfront.
