New York for the first time topped the rating of the hi-tech cities

In a new ranking of the world’s most advanced cities new York ahead of San Francisco and London.

The British company Savills has analysed the situation in 30 cities around the world to figure out which technologies to develop the easiest. The big Apple took the lead thanks to a huge amount of venture capital, lots of talented people working in the city, and created for them opportunities.

In November, plans to build an office center in long island city (Queens) and attract 25 thousand new employees, including highly qualified, declared the giant e-Commerce Amazon. Google and Apple also continue to expand in the city.

«The scale of what new York has to offer, when you have so many people. For large technology companies is a real advantage,» says study author Paul Toustain, Deputy Director, world research, Savills Plc.

Experts Savills estimated city cost of living in them, business opportunities, investment opportunities, real estate prices, availability of transport and many other criteria.

New York got points for venture capital investments that were worth billions of dollars more than in San Francisco over the last 3 years. Real estate prices (rents in new York, for the offices of housing, one of the highest) kompensiruet here the variability and availability of public transport.
