It’s amazing how in a city with useful and transparent system of rating restaurants (and in the future, and grocery stores) does not exist something similar for landlords. After all, in the restaurant you will spend a couple of hours, but the apartment is usually rented for a longer period, and that, you know, certain obligations.
Fortunately, someone from the site Rentlogic came up with the same question. Resource decided to fill this informational white spot new useful software, which launched this week. The idea of service is simple – it displays evaluation-letters for residential buildings in new York based on data obtained from state agencies for eight years. Information taken into account during the evaluation covers the past issues that could affect the condition of the apartment, such as mold, presence of rodents, lawsuits against the landlord, etc.
To access the data, you need only download an extension for your browser. After evaluating the letters from A to F will appear in the pop-up window while browsing the lists of real estate in more than 200 different specialized sites.
