The famous American actor and screenwriter Mickey Rourke charged that he allegedly owed to the landlord of the apartment in Tribeca cost for three months. A lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court yesterday was filed by the company Queens-based Crosstown Realty Holdings, reports the New York Daily News.
The lawsuit alleges that Rourke should landlord 28 985,86 dollars. This amount includes the debt for the payment of the rent and the cost of repair of the property and court costs. So far, neither from FIFA nor from his representatives failed to comment on this issue.
According to the plaintiff, 64-year-old actor began to rent an apartment on Franklin St. 1 December 2014. Then the initial rent for a period of 18 months was extended for another six months, until 31 December 2016. But Rourke stopped paying rent in the amount of $ 10,000 under the contract to October 2016, causing the owner to eventually go to court.
The owner had to spend $ 8800 to repair the apartment, including clean up, fix holes in walls, painting the walls and ceilings. In addition, the landlord put the Deposit of $ 20,000 in total debt, leaving an outstanding debt of almost $ 30,000 after interest and legal fees.
