President trump has declared Sunday a National day of prayer for the millions of Americans affected by the catastrophic hurricane Harvey, and for those working in rescue and recovery.
During the ceremonial signing of the corresponding decree the President also pledged to restore the victim Texas, giving him all possible assistance.
«From the very beginning of our nation Americans were United in prayer in times of need,» reads the official statement.
«I urge all Americans and churches across the country to join the United voice of prayer, as we strive to support each other and help those who suffer from the effects of this terrible hurricane.»
